Has anyone ever had the same dilemma?
Élégante or Aquanaut? Which one would make a better daily watch? Heart says Journe but head says PP. Is it crazy to consider picking a quartz watch over a mechanical one (a PP as well)? ...
The Elegante may be a quartz watch
but I love the design and personally prefer it over the Aquanaut. Now I actually love most things Patek do but I do feel that the Aquanaut and its more famous big brother are quite over rated. Some brands are good at dress watches and Patek is one of them...
Out of these two, the aquanaut would be the clear winner for me.
Tried one a few different versions of the elegante and never really liked it.

I would go for the Elegante IF you already have enough mechanical watches I have a half-dozen high accuracy quartz watches and I love having the choice to grab and go! Cazalea
I'd say Elegante, because you can get it for free
How? Just get an Aquanaut for retail! Then you can sell it for enough to recoup your costs and buy yourself a new Elegante.
