Hello Watchprosite members, Recently a “brand new pre-owned” (pun intended) experience: Grand opening of our member horoloupe’s wristcheck physical store at Landmark (the prime shopping center in Hong Kong) !

When we took a wrist shot together, horoloupe, whom I dub as THE AP King but perhaps should be THE AP Prince because he is so young (mid 20s), and I had a show down of my 5131G vs his 15020PT green dial.  I prefer my 5131G because of the manual work involved in making the enamel dial but it was a close call because the smoked green sunburst dial is really good !

To ensure fairness in determining the winner, I have also put this photo in Patek and AP forums because many of you own both brands.  So please vote only once in each forum as to which one you would prefer and why. 

Below are some grails displayed at the store.  Unlike other dealers I know (except Watchbox), Wristcheck has taken up PRIME retail real estate in Landmark, which is THE shopping mall in Hong Kong with famous international brands.  Think the equivalent of fifth avenue in New York or Rodeo drive in LA.  By offering a stylish and hip store front to complement its online presence, collectors can view watches in the metal or with state of the art hand motion technologies that moves the watch in cabinets when you move your hand. 

Will wristcheck post serious competition to other dealers ?  Time will tell but I think AP Prince might have found the secret sauce.  Your thoughts ?
