Picked this one up today. What do you guys think. It has that smooth sweep second hand, like the Seiko Spring Drive only more affordable lol....

I agree the dial isn't everyones taste. I saw one online that was all rose tone, black rubber strap carbon fiber dial really sporty. Who knows maybe if the price is right, I'll pick one up.

Let the people wake up! The Precisionist is an interesting quartz movement IMHO. And the smooth sweep second hand is coherent with Bulova history. But I would like to get your comment later about the battery life: does it last very long? This the question... 

As Zhege Pointed out I too also read online the battery is good for 2-3 years. I also read when these watches first came out, some were saying they gained the +/- 10 seconds the first 6 months not the first year. But word as it that watches that have seri... 

I've had this one for about 18 months; bought it from a guy who had it about 6 months. I think they say expected battery life is 2-3 years, so mine is approaching that. Still going strong, keeping excellent time - I seldom wear it, but use it as a handy r...  

I have my eye on the rose tone version on the rubber strap. Really wish they had a rotating bezel, after all it is 300m.
