as with most japanese cars, whereby every feature is announced...ABS, AWD, Turbo, Vtec, twin-cam etc etc, i humbly opined that Seiko is doing the same to their dials!! w have hi-beat, vph, special, etc etc...i can understand the 50th anniversary wording...but too many words!!
thats my SOLE complain, the rest of the watch is just fantastic...textile feel and quality is all apparent.

I thoroughly agree with you... (you have a beautiful watch). Wearing this right now... Mine has the GS lion magnificently etched on to the rear sapphire crustal, and I just love the "GS" textured dial....

Under appreciated. Under valued, and unfortunately too hard to find. I have the SBGE001, the titanium Diver, and a space walk, which technically isn't a grand Seiko, but still. Love the hi beat. Wear it in the best.
