Prior to that Hour Glass of Singapore funded them and bought out during Asian currency meltdown in the 90s ....
It was an in and out decision by the retailer Hour Glass and Tay family. GG & DR both did not have funds to even pay for salaries back then. For sure it was a sad day... I personally love GG creations ... specially this Girard-Perregaux Modified movement ...
