What an amazing piece of technical craftsmanship. Do we know how long the belts should last for, under normal wear & tear? Or are they like a cars timing belt and require replacing after so many hours of work!

IMHO, I think the tension in the belt is not very high, and the belt is soft enough to avoid wear & tear. But this watch must keep out from sunlight and UV which age most of the synthetic rubber.

...which lead to a question: Do you know why they've tilted the axis of the barrels? I can't see any reason to do so, beyond perhaps, packaging or maybe it's just aethetics to continue the Automotive theme.

NO. of piston=No. of barrel=V no. In engine, pistons are tilted for technical reason. For TAG V4...I agree with you! aesthetic reason
