Destro... hmmm
Yes, I never really thought of the etymology of the word in itself. My understanding is that it refers to left sided pushers nowadays, much as we use manufacture to denote an in-house maker of watches rather than the dictionary version.
Yes, love the GP, though I have to say, the Zenith Captain is probably my favourite destro.

Well, the PAM 217 and 557 are for me the best Panerai Destros.
I meant the nicest. Now, Destro sounds italian and I would link it with Panerai. Outside the brand from ( originally ) Firenze, I would also mention, as you did, the RD 01 from GP. Best, and thanks for this interesting post. Nicolas
