Pebble watch
Hi all, I've searched this forum but couldn't find anybody posting about it so I thought I might share this... This is a very interesting concept! It's called the Pebble E-Paper watch and currently it's a Kickstarter project that's become very very succes...
A few of us were just talking about this last night!!!
And I was told initial subscription exceeded four fold what the originators wanted. Very cool concept, albeit very similar to iPod nano(?) Best, Horo

I only noticed it this morning when browsing a Mac site, and I quickly checked their page. Up till now, they're at 53 times the initial goal, and 29 days to go. Pretty unbelievable. In a way it is similar to the Nano, but there are some differences... Peb...

Apparently it works both with iphones and Android! Doesn't work with Blackberries and other smartphone OS'es though.
Original funding goal $100,000. Currently funded at over $5.3 million...
... Still 29 days of fundraising to go.
In theory, if you and me post a similar project funding request now.....

I searched for Pebble and it didn't come up on the first few pages... now I noticed I should have clicked on sort by date!! Thanks for posting the video again!
With a metawatch put aside and another one coming..

Is "another one" also a smart watch?
I don't have any smart watch which is why I'm keen to try this one out. Would love to see SMS pop up on my wrist! It is quite similar to the metawatch.
