Couldn't agree more...
It seems built to last - also the claimed 10yr battery service interval points towards its "no-nonsense" character... Reminds me a lot of my SINN UX (except for that one's rather cumbersome battery-change due to its oil filled case).
The Speedbird looks nice, very clean and more dressy, but as the name suggests it looks like it belongs into a cockpit as opposed to strapped onto a wetsuit!

It's a nice hefty block of steel, isn't it? Can't see anything ever damaging that watch! I had a PRS-12 once, called the Speedbird. Can't recall why I sold it now ... Cazalea
