Germany also makes nice timepieces, as does Britain, and even the USA. Japan does too. OMEGA uses bracelets made in Thailand as i recall. I'm hoping we see very passionate, affluent, cost-no-object watchmakers in Saudia Arabia / Dubai start their own manufacturing. Could be Simon Brette on steroids.

Cool Chinese watch that was a LE of 99 in 2 colors. Surprised to find one about 6 months ago and even more surprised at the good price. Not for precise time obviously, but nice to look at on the weekends ...

Off the top of my head I know that Omega and Vianney Halter made ones. They there are the Chinese like Atowak Core I posted and the Peacock Black Hole. Zeroo Time had one (the T7?) too. And then there are probably really bad Chinese ones too on AliX I bet...

Oops, my bad... This 'Country Thing' is being discussed elsewhere as there's talent all around the world :) Tourbillions are now easy. What next, quarter-hour repeaters?
Elsewhere on the interweb, we're discussing why just Swiss? Seems far too limiting and very short-sighted. Especially as the machines that make parts do incredibly well nowadays, and will get better with each passing year. BTW England and France might des...
