Bought the Big Crown new - it was my first mechanical watch bought for myself. Wore it solidly for about 4 years, before I went a bit mad and added a whole raft of others. The alarm is from the same era so suspect that contributes to the family likeness. ... 

Hope they will make a bit of a comeback

Worth looking for. I especially like the "Big Crown." Had I ever seen that before I would have wished to snap it up. Well done! Wear them on good health! FH

Oris still does the big crown & some of the iterations are rather good. There's a green dialled one at the mo that looks particularly good! cheers JML
