Another marvel from the Past: Longines 13 ZN Chronograph.
From one of my friends' collection. 
These vintage Longines Chrono should deserve a place in the Pantheon of fine chronographs, in my opinion.
Here we have a 37 / 38 mm case, a step bezel, " mushrooms " pushers, and, last but not least, a superb chronograph movement, the 13ZN. Without forgetting the dial, which has a lot of charm!

And if you look at auction results they do fetch a nice sum, up there with the 32x from Omega. The 13ZN and the later 30CH are wonderful calibers and the one you have shared with us here is special in finish since the base and bridges are gilted - very pl...
They re edited some nice ones. Such as this one, for example.

Phew ... beautifully aged case and dial and a great movement ... a rare beauty.
At first glance the case looked like solid SS until I took notice of the backside of the lugs, oh well ...
