...a slim bullit-proof, highly waterproof watch would obviously be ' A Kettle and a half ' (so to speak) and although it would even more obviously be very high horolgy.. it no doubt would be the expensive way around the block for the manafacturers. But that is not to wish that they could inch thier way towards this end in small increments instead of taking the easier route.
A brand representative was asked about this very recently and his answer went along the lines of...." It is easier to manafacturer more accurate movements without the worry of needing to fit them into a smaller size cases". Which is really rather sad (and did'nt say a lot for the engineering skills of the company he represented).
