Breitling would not have developed such a movement without the intention of using it in more than one limited release.
I can understand Breitling's position. Would enough people who dislike Breitling's big and chunky watches go and buy a retro Breitling of modest proportions? Probably not.
A big and chunky Breitling sans date window would be the logical starting point for the next limited edition mono-pusher.

Thank you for the review. Your points clearly shows that Breitling had a great opportunity to make, like others, a nice re edition but let it go with the date and a adaptation of an automatic movement to a handwind version. Cheers, Nilo
