Only observations on n=2 ...
... but the Octa RdM does +1 second per day after its service last year and prior to service (its first in 9 years) it was doing +3 to 5 seconds per day.
... and the DS does +5 seconds per day. However, it gains 5 seconds EVERY day. Regardless of position or wear. Its precision is superb and because it is reproducible and predictable I am happy to leave it till the next service. And you can't 'hack' the seconds hand on the tourbillon, so setting is a little inaccurate anyway.
But that's only a sample of two watches out of 900 made per year, and a snapshot in their service cycle.
Personally I think you should just know how your own watches perform under different conditions within your lifestyle.
