While in college, Bedat was the watch I coveted the most. Thanks for the flash back.
Interesting design ! I remember this brand well because many years ago when
I brought a friend to my multi-brand AD, he chose a Bedat, a name that I was not familiar with but took notice of their designs. Originally this brand was started by a mother and son team. Wonder what happened to it ?
Simone Bedat (the mother) died, and her son Christian is making a line called RED8 Watches.
They don't appeal to me, but to each his own.
Gucci bought the company in 2000...
and then sold it to Luxury Concepts Watches & Jewellery Sdn Bhd, the Malaysia-based brand management company in 2009. I believe they now make mostly womens watches.
