I'm enjoying this M42s vintage style (with admittedly, Omega Seamaster 300-esque homage hands), wearable size (41mm) and a sufficient power reserve of ca. 50 hours.
Lume on the hands and markers is quick to brightness, and winding on the wrist is surprisingly efficient. Unlike a lot of automatics that have a hard time just maintaining their initial states of wind, the power reserve increases quickly on the wrist with this piece, without supplemental hand winding, as indicated by the indicator at 12.
I'm not going to test the watch's 200m WR from my desk any time soon, but it's nice to know that the case is robust enough for that rating.
The dial has a pleasing blue/dark gray gradation, with the hues lightening towards the center.
Overall, a nice casual, affordable piece that won't stress your wallet. 😀
