The AP is far more interesting and would be an obvious choice for me. [nt]

Very tough call! This Vacheron is exquisite. But The Metropolis has the advantage of its world time complication. For me, here it would be the AP. [nt]

The VC is classic, the AP more individual. I have a feeling the VC would have more staying power in a collection.

Unless someone loved the AP so much that this sort of comparison was unnecessary.
