Quite a nice Diver from Bell&Ross

 By: MichaelC : August 23rd, 2017-06:34
I recently had an opportunity to handle this 2017 novelty B&R Diver. Quite impressive to try on. Very comfortable, very legible, and a darn good deal for what you get. No, I did not purchase it, but I expect it to find many fans. ...

Count me in ^^

The most beautiful BR ...

Great design by B&R. [nt]

In my opinion, one of the nicest B&R I've seen lately and one that I'd choose if I had to look at B&R

A square diver with bezel, crown guards and magnetic resistance is pretty interesting - can't find anything else with this aesthetic and features! Regards, skyeriding

+1

.. glad you agree! Very well made, it seemed through the glass.... www.watchprosite.com Ken

Your report is much more thorough than mine!

We agree on this one, quite a robust and good looking diver.

I've never been excited by Bell & Ross even if I recognise that they have a true identity

The only one I already considered was the WWI jumping hours. Credit: A Blog to Watch Regarding a Diver today, I recently saw and rade an article about the Favre-Leuba Raider Harpoon and I have to confess that I really really love it. Best wishes Alkiro ...

The F-L is cool but . . .

. . . it's a real horse. I like the way time is displayed. I'd like to see it in the metal. M4

It has a better depth rating than B&R, but IMHO underwater B&R Diver would be more legible?

Agree

Maybe you are right Alkiro, I suppose whenever underwater I rarely look at the short hour hand 8-). Where is the depth sensor on that bathy?

When is one of these going to appear on your wrist?

 By: MichaelC : August 28th, 2017-11:49
I know they have had your interest for some time (mine too, cool looking watches).

+1. It is one of the nicest retro diver

Oh yes, I'm with you about this FL

 By: Alkiro1 : August 23rd, 2017-22:47
Best wishes Alkiro

I have never been drawn until seeing this one.

 By: MichaelC : August 28th, 2017-11:49
Well designed, constructed, and priced timepiece.

Which one? The B&R or the Favre-Leuba?

 By: Alkiro1 : August 28th, 2017-15:14
Best wishes Alkiro

I was speaking of the B&R in the parent post.

 By: MichaelC : August 28th, 2017-15:24
The F-L also interests me, you guys should start a new thread for it so it is not hiding here ;-)

Which one? The B&R or the Favre-Leuba?

 By: MichaelC : August 28th, 2017-18:59
TouchΓ©! LOL. I suspect you mean the F-L, let's keep the heat on M4, I think he is close to jumping off the cliff!

Is that the B&R jump hour designed by Vincent Calabrese?

 By: Bounce781 : August 28th, 2017-19:32
I know he did a limited edition jump hour design for them (100 pieces)? The Fabre Leuba was designed by Martin Braun (unless I am mistaken). Great design!

You're absolutely right for Vincent Calabrese and the B&R Vintage 123. 4 versions have been made all in 99 pieces

 By: Alkiro1 : August 28th, 2017-23:38
Regarding this FL, I didn't know that Martin Braun worked on this project. But as an owner of the EOS, you had inside information I suppose πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ Best wishes Alkiro

Haha, you remember my EOS. I am honoured.

 By: Bounce781 : August 29th, 2017-02:25
As you know, my respect for Mr Martin Braun is well known. Here is a Message from his Twitter feed about the Fabre-Leuba ...

Of course I remember your EOS πŸ˜‰

That's very cool if a great watchmaker like Martin Braun was helping with this project. He found a very interesting way to display the time in this diving FL for me. Best wishes Alkiro

I agree completely, Alkiro.

 By: Bounce781 : August 29th, 2017-05:59
Hard what I really like about Martin's creations. He finds an ingenious way to show indications. Cheers

That's what I love and call a "twist effect" 😊

Best wishes Alkiro

The image of B&R's pilot watches is so strong in my head that

 By: Luis6 : August 23rd, 2017-16:04
I find a B&R diver a bit odd. But of course that is my problem, and the it should in no way undermines the beauty of the watch.

Understandable reaction. Perhaps if this one is successful it will be different a few years from now.

 By: MichaelC : August 28th, 2017-11:51
B&R has dove into new waters lately (really, no pun intended but apropos!!) and while different than what we are used to, I am impressed with this new Diver.
