meant that even if there are so many crooks in the watch industry, it should not stop us from having a pure affection for watches. If that was what you meant, I 100% agree. That is the very reason why we are all here, isn't it?
But if your Santa Claus meant that he will come secretly one Christmas night and drops a Kari in my Christmas socks, then I must disagree..

Back to what you have said, I personally know of a grey market dealer who was invited to buy (in large quantities, over 100 pieces) from an AD in the form of "auction" between grey dealers. The winning bid seems to be around 20-30% of the watch retail price.
There is only a tiny fraction of purists in the watch industry. Majority are businessmen who are only interested in $$$...If not for Santa Claus, I would have long gone quartz...
