I've never seen that Seiko before but then again I've also never really been interested in that particular brand. Although... My first "real" read: expensive (at the time for me) watch was in fact a Seiko. Upon inspection, a senior co-worker said to me: "Nice watch, wrong brand" and I was very unhappy wit ht that comment. In the meantime I know more about watches and can see his taste in a different light now.

to me, well worth it. After 2 years..I have made up my mind to collect more. They represent the best of watchmaking using machines and practical means. BUT..that said, they are not to be compared with the way the Swiss do things..it is just VERY different...
The Nex 7 is SUPERB..but a hard choice.

Today, I use a Sony RX1 for travel, and a nex7 for posts. The Nex is really good. The macro 30mm is very inexpensive.

I am a big fan of Seiko Galante myself. I believe the style, quality, and design synthesis of the line are under-rated, not to mention the beautiful Spring Drive electro-mechanical movement. Please feel free to post more pics and commentary! :-) Here are ...
