Hi Thomas. I cannot speak for the Tag but I have owned the Breitling for 10 years now.
It is reliable, takes a beating in all weather conditions and keeps great time. And looks great on the milanese strap!

For just a casual watch for weekend wear which would be the preferred watch? TAG Aquaracer or Breitling Superocean? Rubber strap on both.

If you are thinking about the regular Superocean 42 or 44, they and the Aquaracer will both have either an ETA 2824 or Sellita 200. However, the Breitling will be within chronometer timing specs, the Tag will be +/- 2 minutes per week vs around +42/-28 se...
