If this version of the Millenary would be still available today...

...there would be some customers for it, don't you think so? Love the simple and clear dial. Greetings, Ron ...

I think you’re right, gives a far more military feel to what is now a dress watch in my mind? [nt]

Unfortunately there's actually no Millenary line for men... :-( [nt]

That's a beautiful watch. I should know, I have one too ;)

But I don't know why you think the Millenary line isn't for men...AP would certainly disagree. True, some variants are more feminine then others, but most versions are perfectly acceptable as a man's watch.

That's right, of course, for the older collections.
By: ronhan : October 16th, 2019-08:31
But the actual collection has female customers on target only, when looking at their homepage.

Interesting. Just checked the website and am surprised that you have to search to find the 4101 and there's only two version shown, neither of which is available anymore--listed as 'legacy'

They really are pushing the female market now. I assume they want the CODE 11.59 to replace it as a man's watch.

Without date it would be a killer, in my opinion. [nt]

How much better it would have sold if it had been ... round! [nt]

Or octagonal... but wait a moment: there WAS a Royal Oak with this dial!

Yes, I wore that very one briefly and a good watch it was, but still find octagonal or oval unintuitive. Quite why, I don't know, because rectangular 'works' for me. [nt]

I'm not sure, the shape of the case makes it very difficult to sell... and I'm a Millenary owner! ;-) [nt]
