Don't Give up
May 18, 2020,13:59 PM
The same happened to me. After a long time of exploring designs on my own, and ready to go for it I received the mail about Beat Leaving. It was a sad weekend. The project and the dream seemed over. Two days later, almost in a miracle, I found and got one offered unworn, by someone who bought it just for the joy of the design process with Beat, and which was not only almost exactly what I would have wished, but with a detail that made it even better. Beat was ( and is) great but Oechslin´s creation is Center Stage as well.

However I fear some of the important craftsmanship left as well. Especially, as I was interested in a certain specific patina they had developed.

I love your story. And you are obviously right. The watches are center stage
