Horological Meandering

Why does Breitling not get any love on these forums? This seems like a very good alternative to Rolex Sub, Omega PO and the like. The service costs are a lot less and at 500 meters it's a beast. Thoughts?...  

Breitling out here. Personally their new models are too big for me. If I went for one of theirs, it would be vintage, and that may happen one of these days.

Breitling generally has ETA movements inside them, not all, but generally. They are not known to be especially modified or upgraded. (not saying it's true, but how they are perceived.) They are dressed up entry level ETA watches, and VERY, VERY pricey for...

There are a lot of under rated watches which are worth the same price than the two you are thinking about...

The amount of information on the Breitling dials is mind-numbing. It's counter-productive to the idea of pilot's watches, which is supposed to make you read important information at a glance. Breitling for Bentley is even worse.

in every brand. You may be able to find one that works for you. I find this particular Cosmonaute to my liking and it works like a charm, though it may require some practice to read the time. 41mm, Lemania manual wind and one of the nicest bracelets I've ...  

But only the Aerospace has "stuck". I take it on all my travels but I think people are tired of seeing it here. Cazalea ...

I own a half gold Chronomat (Pic taken before recent polishing job) It is a nice looking watch with some great presence and does feel hefty on the wrist. But for the price it retails (i did not pay retail) for, there are so many other watches you could bu...

And my Aerospace still gets used in spare time - really like the design (and the old 40mm one is a good size). As for the new ones, they are simply too large for me. I like the looks of the Transocean but not the size and the 38mm one I do like still has ...
