Around 1992, I was 10 years old….
…and my older cousin who would have been 15 at the time received a Tag Formula 1 for his birthday. I was obsessed by it, and another older cousin got me a fake Tag (not even sure what model it was supposed to be, but it was a steel sports), and the rest is history. Throughout my teens I had Swatches and Sekondas paid for by my job in supermarket. I had a fairly normal working class upbringing so my parents aren’t rich, but they got me a Raymond Weil Tango when I was 18, which was my first watch that cost a decent chunk of change, and from then on I’ve just gone further and further down the rabbit hole!

My love for this crazy hobby started when i was around 16 and my dad bought a yellow gold Sub , i was totally mesmerized by that watch and when a friend of mine bought a Cartier Model 21 i new i had to have a nice watch at some point.
