a great value

thanks to the internet, i managed to get one of these despite living the in the u.s. and i love wearing it.  it's a fantastic value, in my view.  obviously, it's not on par with your the more expensive dive-watch cousins, but taken on its own terms, the finish is fine, the proportions are right, and an 80 hour power reserve is not to be scoffed at!  lume is a bit weak, nato strap frays easily, and supple does not exactly apply to the leather strap which is clearly designed with yeti in mind anyway.  but overall, for the price, and the beauty of the thing: this is a really great watch!  i love it, and sadly my beloved jlc ewc has had to be retired for the time being!

Great looking and, apart from the size, pretty faithful to the original. ...

Thanks :) I don't know how rare the originals are, but you are right that they don't often come up for sale.

Here's a slightly sharper picture of mine. As you can see I don't have Jocke's talent for photography! ...

Great looking diver! :)

and terrific photos as usual. I love the watch and will probably try and track one down at a European dealer. For some reason, Certina is not imported to the US.
