1. Any watch that consists of a case wrapped around a poorly finished ETA movement complete with a $30K+ price tag. 2. Any watch with uneven PVD finish. How difficult can that really be? 3. Any company who’s idea of “innovation” is to bring out a 45mm ver... 

And it's a pity that you are using a $30K pricing threshold where previously a $10K threshold would have accomplished the same thing.

Normally I would say the most disappointing would be companies that churns out re-issues of their previous popular limited editions. But I cannot say that this time for Lange with their Lange 1 Tourbillon and 1815 Moonphase. They are so beautiful that I a... 

The watches I liked the least are so clearly not targeted at me and from brands/product lines that I do not in general like, that it is hard to categorize my dislike of them as disappointing... A

Were you, for example, disappointed at what you might perceive to be a lack of imagination across the board? A paucity of innovation? A particularly cynical marketing effort? A squandered opportunity? Cheers, pplater.

EDIT: Additional remarks at bottom of page... I didn't find any watches that were supremely disappointing. Now, I have to admit, I was mostly keeping my eye on my "favorite" brands; and I wasn't keeping an eye on brands that I wasn't familiar with. Out of...

I love the Lange Perpetual dial. I think it is busy, but neat and organized. This annual calendar is not busy, but still very organized. It's very hard to explain why I don't love this watch. Maybe I respect the Lange Perpetual because it is so busy yet i...

For me, the AP ROO series. I guess it's just me but i really do not see the value of perpetuating the LE series that AP insist on creating. The standard ROO is okay and wearable, but the continued evolution to more ill defined creations just doesn't work ... 

That's the most disappointing for me. Watches are becoming less and less affordable as retail pricing just goes up and up. - AT
