A true lady purist

Dear fellow PuristS,

it is amazing in how many different ways and people puristic thoughts can be found!
I came across this story a few days ago and you might be interested to read it.

In this case a German lady journalist decided to wear the same dress (being available three times ) for a whole year, each of the 365 days. She varied it a bit with accessoires (scalfs, leggings, pullovers etc.), added something warm in winter, but basically she was wearing just one dark blue dress all the time.

If you click "Alle" you will see the pics of all 365 days and how the lady managed to create a different look although wearing the same dress. (Sorry, just in German)

I wonder how many of us would dare to do the same with their watches? One watch for 365 days, no other watch. You might change the strap (accessoire), but that´s it?

The lady conducted her experiment from November, 11th 2009 until November, 11th 2010.

Her summary: it is amazing how well it went and how little you actually need.
(NB: Her closet must be as well-filled as you would the average closet of a lady journalist expect to be )

you´re right, changing a strap can occasionally give the watch a very different look, that makes you feel you´ve got a new one. Less is more, keep it simple, small is beautiful - these mottos are well known and rarely followed. Or am I wrong? Ki...
