@W72 Of course you are right with your caution claim. But if the supposed seller of your watch has left the country without address, does neither answer phone nor e-mail, has the police looking out for him in other cases, has his shop closed and his vault is removed from it, you are allowed to believe your watch being lost, whoever may currently be in its possession. It is irrelevant who took it and has it, but it´s illicit anyway. Potential buyers should be warned.

Option to publish stolen watches?

Dear team PuristS, I have fallen prey to a scammer so that I lost my Rolex red Sub, ref. 1680 full set. Is there an option to enlist the stolen watch on PuristSPro so that potential buyers may be warned? Kind regards anaesdoc

I definitely support and think we should have that option here. Afterall, there must be a number of Purists who buys on the used market. This is a definite contribution to prevent scammers from having it easy. However, having said that - care must be take...
