Are Harry Winston RT planning on producing in-house movements>>>
So a famous company known for making jewelry---Chopard---in the past few years has developed and produced wonderful movements for some of their watches. Harry Winston is also a company known for jewelry and definitely makes some fabulous watches. These watches, however, all use others' ebauches (GP, Lemania, F. Piguet) or in the case of the OPUS series the movements are made in partnership with a famous watchmaker. I think that every HWRT watch that I have seen has been exquisitly put together and meticulously finished so I respect the brand very much and do not want my post to be read as a criticism. I am just curious if they have any plans to go along the route that Chopard has gone and design and produce their own exclusive movements to be used in their normal range of watches.
