No, I don't think this one is for me.  I certainly admire the audacity of it, and am pleased that they were finally able to pull it off, but it doesn't keep me awake at night the way the Antiqua did.

My current view is that I will be "done" building my collection (a silly concept, as we know that collectors like the act of adding things!) if I can ever add the following two pieces:

1.  Dufour Simplicity

2. G-F Invention Piece 2

If a jumbo jet loaded with cash ever crashes in my back yard, I would add:

3. ALS Tourbograph in Honey Gold

That's in addition to the two indie pieces I have in the pipe but have not yet received.

There are lots of other watches I would love to have (Vagabondage 1 and/or 2 come immediately to mind, there's the One Hertz, and so on) but you can't have everything...

... and its history adds so much to it. There are Opus watches and Vianney pieces that I love more, but this watch has a place in the horological landscape like no other. Great to see it. Thanks Gary. Andrew

Neat to get a glimpse of this one. Somehow holds quite a mystique among the Opus series. Not sure if it's a plus or a minus that the watchmaker who created it was unable to complete the movement, but that fact probably adds yet a bit more to the aura whic...

Great shot, Alex. You really captured the way the light beams from the openings in the Opus dial, you give a sense of the relative sizes of the watches, and that Antiqua looks pretty nice, too The light on that terrace was great, wasn't it? I should have ...
