Excellent comments all around. However...
I guess it comes down to the point as to whether this watch would warrant a 2nd look should it not have the name Harry Winston or Opus on it. My personal opinion would be that it probably wouldn't. I agree that the Opus V set the standard when it set the world alight when it was presented. No watch came close to competing with it. However, should the Opus 8 be placed in a line-up with say Greubel Forsey Quad Tourb or De Grisogono's Meccanicco or De Witt's Incognito or AP's Concept Watch II. it wouldn't be able to stand up to the competition.
Just my 2 cents.
