To the best of my recollection, WatchTime did perform . . .
. . . a comparison test between a Glashütte Original Senator Moonphase Panorama Date and a Lange Sax-O-Mat a very long time ago. Unfortunately, I no longer have the issue.
The cal 39 doesn't come with a chronometer certificate; only the cal 58, fitted to the aptly named Senator Chronometer, is supplied with one, to the best of my knowledge.

Here's a link to an old WatchTime article (Oct '04) that pits the GO PanoMaticLunar (Caliber 90) with the ALS Grand Langematik (SAX-O-MAT, Caliber L921.4). According to the article, GO goes toe-to-toe with ALS. Cheers!
