. . . there shouldn't be a problem if you leave your watch on a winder for a week or three. I'm very sensitive to the long-term damage that the use of a winder can inflict because it's happened to me - I no longer use a winder except when I'm planning on wearing one of my perpetuals for a long stretch, or for breaking in a new watch . . . cordially, Art
