Thank you, Tony. Great report and great pics!

We came back from Basel on Saturday afternoon.
As Jocke's and Tony's pics are far better than our pics, we will not bore you to death with tons of our pics.
We chose just a few pics that show the special "Basel atmosphere" besides watches and jewelry.
For the folks who don't live in central Europe: We had an unusual long winter, and we thought this Baselworld would become the first real "indoor Baselworld". This means: Baselworld without any opportunity to spend the breaks outdoors.
But our fear turned out false:
Weather was already warm when we arrived in the morning of Friday, and the sky changed to cloudless blue at noon.
So, we had to choose between ...
... the "winter beauties" inside the dark halls of Baselworld and ...
... the spring beauties outdoors (although some of them still had a snowcapped top).
When Martina told me that we had not made the trip to Basel in order to watch girls we decided to go inside, where we met "our man in Glashütte", René Marx who welcomed us to Baselworld 2010:
He showed us the new version of the Senator Chronometer - the "Senator Chronometer Wall"
A tremendous invention for presbyopic people like me
Three Swiss policemen guarded this big watch because ...
... these three guys (Tony, stromer and Jocke) tried to steal the "Chronometer Wall".
After some hours and ...
... dozens of glasses of sparkling wine they finally gave up because they decided to participate the presenation of the GO novelties for the wrist
These are our 2010 favorites:
Bye,
Gerd & Martina

The live pictures are serving to solidify what the press pictures first hinted at: - The SS PanoInverse is a dream. - Big date Sixties is not for me and the date display takes away from the beauty of its perfect voluptuous dial. - Senator Diary is more at...
