The hands had oxydation on them and the watch lost 20 seconds/day. It was sent back to Glashutte.
Two months later, the hands are pristine new but the watch (after 48 hours testing) still looses 20-25 secs per day!
I'm not over-impressed, to use a euphemism.
If in one month's time the watch - whose movement might need a bit of breaking in? - is still keeping such pitiful time (were speaking of a spanking new Senator moon phase, power reserve, here...) it's going straight back to Glashutte, and again and again if need be, until it keeps half-decent time (within ten secs a day). Even my most weather&time-beaten vintage IWC or Omega does that...
I know this might be jumping the gun but I can't help thinking there are GO lemons out there.
Does anyone own a cal 39 based GO that keeps chronometrical time? Hello?
