The upcoming February issue of Watchtime magazine features a fine cover article by Gisbert Brunner on Glashutte Original, including extensive quotes from Heinz Pfeifer.
Two of the significant watches due soon are:
PanoMatik Lunar
PanoReserve Tourbillon (Flying)
Also coming is the new Caliber 100 which will replace the Caliber 39 in the Senator series watches. This movement will boast two serially switched barrels and a return-to-zero seconds hand.
( I hope this is not 'old news' to those here - if it is, I apologize )
A quote from the sui generis Herr Pfeifer, never a man to mince words: "We at Glashutte Original only want additional functions that have genuine usefulness. We'll never craft what we consider to be fruitless complications, such as a display of the equation of time"
More soon.
Best regards,
Steven
