Regarding the current value of you Union, this is not very easy. To start with an assumption, you can use this reference post of the Union Glashütte list prices of all models with manufacture movements:

You see that your model was listed at € 1,570 in 2004. From here, you have to take into account the condition of your watch, and the service it has seen (being at least 10 years old, a watch without any service record is less likely to be popular among collectors). Additionally, the small size (somewhere around 37 or 38mm, if I recall correctly) is not to everyone's taste these times, where 40mm timepieces are considered ladies' watches.
As with all rare items, you can have luck, if you find people eager to collect the "real" Union watches, but you can also offer it for an eternity, without getting offered a price that you consider satisfactory.
