Yes, definitely: the succesor models are stern and sober! What a correct definition!
These particular watches with the guilloche dials produced only for a couple of years. First became the perpetual calenders this wonderful guilloche dial, than these models. But the production cost of a guilloche dial was too high for a normal, stainless steel Senator watch therefore after 3 years the production was stopped.
What a pity!
I was so lucky that I could find one more brand new model at my beloved AD!

I really like these older Santor models with the Guilloche dials.
Their successors with the plain dials tended to be very, very stern and sober. Maybe a touch too stern for some tastes. Here the Guilloche adds interest to the dial without taking anything away of its seriousness. And it is dead beautiful which you captur...
