I think this may be my favorite version of the Cosmopolite.

To be sure, the original models in the gold cases are truly stunning and classic, and benefit from a splash of color on the day/night indicator. (The steel version lacks this splash of color, and therefore appears a bit stark to me).  I love the blue dial on the new version, and the fact that there are now lumed hands and hour markers, which, to my mind, add greatly to the functionality of a travel watch.  I am partial to  the Alpha hands on this model.  Over time, GO has been introducing these hands to various models in the Senator line (most recently, the Senator Observer and Senator Chronograph), which provides a nice alternative to the more classic iterations.  This new model now has me very tempted.  smile

Looks handsome in the rendering, and the arguably more sporty style makes some sense, given the watch's gargantuan dimensions. I do miss those gorgeous blued steel hands, though! Photo Credit: WatchTime Magazine Photo Credit: WatchTime Magazine Photo Cred...

Would have preferred white metal poire hands, as in the blue dial Senator Chronometer, but I guess they were going for "sporty" here with the lume and bracelet. 🧐 [nt]

The feuille hands on the home time subdial also look funny with the central handset. They might be better if they, too, were angular and dabbed with lume. (But who am I to criticize?)
