A look at GO
Jul 06, 2016,09:08 AM
Having had a couple of hours to kill and a GO AD handy, I decided to try out some of the current crop, to see if I could picture a GO at some point in my future. And not surprisingly, I could very well do so
The GO Senator Sixties Square Chrono was on my original hunting list and while I do not for a second regret getting the LUC Chrono One back in the day, the GO watches I've seen were all extremely well finished, comfortable on the wrist and of a good design.
Here a couple of pictures from the AD. Looking very nice, both from the movement and the dial side. Love the hands and the dial but would have prefered it a tiny bit smaller.
Being a product of the Seventies, there is a certain appeal to the model
Very cool chrono layout and a sensible design for a square case (even if the movement itself is round). The blue dial is really charming, too!
And possibly my favourite of all - a PanoMatic Lunar in blue. Perfect size, nicely romantic complication and a wonderful finish. The combination simply worked for me!
Here from another angle, showing the moon a bit better - definitely very, very appealing!
Something tells me I will be posting on the GO forum more frequently. Not quite a happy owner yet but it will most likely happen at some point in the foreseeable future
