Went to the AD on Saturday and was a little disappointed..

 

Hey guys,

I have been thinking about picking up a PML or Sixties and wanted to spend some time trying them on in person. The AD in NYC had the PML with the blue face that I have been thinking about. Well when I tried it on, it really felt too small.  Almost too delicate or precious on my wrist. This was really disappointing to me.

I did try on the Sixties which even though it was similar in size to the PML, wore larger and I liked it better. I also tried on the Navigator which obviously is bigger and fit well.

This might have been discussed before, but do others feel the PML is too small for them?

They didn't have any of the Karrees which was surprising to me.

I am also thinking about getting a JLC Squadra as I don't have a square or rectangular piece in the collection yet and it looked and felt great.

Consider if on a bracelet maybe?

I have the plain panomatic, which has the same case-size as the PML, and I've never found it too small. Mine is steel cased with the bracelet, so that might be something to consider if on the leather strap it feels too elegant. A

It's an interesting idea but I think the larger issue is what is going happening on the face itself. Maybe because it has a lot going on with the different sized sub-dials and moonphase it feels smaller in that size overall case. As I said the sixties fel... 

Find a dealer that has the Karree Panodate in stock, gfgst . . .
