The Emerald Eye
I've always been fascinated with the GO Annual Editions, especially those featuring the degrade dials. My wife kindly gifted me this amazing green version, it's a beautiful birthday present. She loves me!
I never had the opportunity to see a degrade dial in real life. I can now report without doubt that is spectacularly eye-catching and unique. It has infinite visual moods, depending on the angle and intensity of the lighting. The combination of the domed crystal and the domed dial produces strong and interesting optical effects of depth. I love the look that the texture of the dial creates in relatively dim light levels. Very rich yet subtle. And in full sun it is safe to say that if I were stranded on a remote island, I could easily signal distant aircraft overhead using the intense and vivid metallic reflections. It's probably visible from space!
I am 100% satisfied and thrilled.
