Glashütte Original

This is a Glashutte Navigator from 1998 made in a special edition for the German air force in 1998. I recently called Glashutte and they told me it has a 52 jewel movemen, not the usual 48 or even 51, which is interesting. Does anyone have more info about...

European militaries get such nice stuff... From Gucci, Loro Piana, Burberry, and Acquascutum to name a few. Very nice watch, a very special Glashutte Original indeed!
