Vintage Girard Perregaux Watch - Need Help Identifying

Aug 12, 2022,21:11 PM

Hi All,

I'm a novice at watch collecting, so please forgive the naivete.  Tried unsuccessfully to learn about this watch on my own.  Could not find a similar example anywhere.  Unknown date of production.  Some details that might be helpful and images below.  31mm case diameter.  Yellow gold casing.  Silver dial.  Manual movement.  Images are of front, back (with engraved number) and strap.  Any leads that anyone can provide would be much appreciated.  Or, any tips one can provide with respect to learning things about vintage watches (with near invisible presence online).  Thank you.

Thank you. Once I have the reference number, is there a lookup site that collectors typically visit? Thanks

The watch belongs to someone who has listed it on Chrono24

Why not ask the owner about the watch? That's the easiest route... Cazalea

Yes, I tried but have yet to receive a response.

So pass on it.
