Friends, Today I like to share one shot of the Girard-Perregaux Richeville reference 8445. Automatic chronometer, date with pie-pan dial. The pleasure of a 60+ years old dial! Just wish I will be as in good condition when I am getting there... Best Blomma...
Going back to basics .....
but what superb posts, Blommen, of these beautiful examples remind me of the true and pure purpose of any watch - to tell us the time and possibly ( sorry Nico ) the date. Keep them coming please. colin

AFAIK, the dial is held as any normal dial from this time...
Two "feets". The 6, 9 and 12 looks bigger due to they are on a higher level of the dial. Best Blomman
