Reference 25810 - Triple Calendar
Apr 11, 2006,02:14 AM
The Triple Calendar hits a very soft spot of mine - classic and timeless looks, together with a "small" complication.
This watch compromises a newly designed case of square proportions, which add some width compared to the "Kingsize" case:
The new case wears exceptionally well and adds a lot of presence, while preserving the typical "look" of the case that already became an icon for Girard-Perregaux.
The Triple Calendar is very nicely done and, as you may have noticed, will be offered in an interesting combination, in that this model will be crafted either in RG or steel. This is a first for GP and the steel model, which is likewise a little premium over the "Kingsize" models in steel, is a very interesting addition.
As you will see in the closer second look, i?m very fond of this watch in person.
This impression obviously is shared by the retailers, because it did turn out to be a hot seller for GP. Interestingly, this included all regions and thus it seems it?s a pretty appreciated model world-wide.
Greetings from Germany,
Peter
