Hi Bigmin,
my pleasure to be of help!
And yes, there´s in fact a "real job"
Watches are just a hobby! But great fun, particularly with GP pieces
Ok, let´s see.
Did you try a 2006 model of the WW.TC?
You might have seen the case is different, which makes it more comfortable. To me it was quite a difference on the wrist; of course it´s not a small watch anyway, but definetely less bulky than earlier pieces!
If that doesn´t work, i´d recommend to try the WWTC "Power Reserve".
From paper specs the difference is not *that* great (2mm less wide), but it´s really a difference on the wrist.
As for Worldtimers, there´s a couple:
- Breguet "Hora Mundi", Lemania(?)-powered, almost same price tag as WWTC
- JLC Master Compressor Geographique, JLC movement, slightly higher price as WWTC in steel
- Patek Philippe 5130, a bit more than a WWTC
- Lange 1 "Zeitzone", a bit more than the PP 5130.
Having said this, to me the WWTC still is a very unique and very special model.
Easy to agree with you
I´d be curious what you think of the 2006 models; the recently introduced "FTC" limited edition in steel may be something to consider!
Cheers,
Peter
