Is Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 XXL case too big?
Friends,
Often when we speak about the Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 in the XXL case we tend to think it is too big (36.10 mm x 35.25 mm ).
Yesterday I meet a very charming and very “petit” lady, when I asked what she was wearing on her wrist she rolled up her sleeve and showed me this!
Even on a small wrist like hers... Does it look too big? No!
And here is the proof! See how well the lugs fits her wrist?
The doesn’t go outside her wrist and the gap between the lugs and the wrist is minimal!
Yes, the curved shape of the XXL case helps a lot.
Now, if I only could make up my mind which one to go for... The Grey or the Blue!?

For some unknown reason when women wear large watches, they look good. The same does not always applies to men. I have only seen the pictures of the blue colour and for me that ticked all the boxes.

I think this is the dial which works best with the Vintage 45 XXL. Here, you don't care bout the case, you just focus on the dial. Grey or Blue, if I had the choice, I would slightly go in favor of the blue. But the Grey is cool, too. This damn watch is h...
